The research project 'EcoViz' makes a contribution to conception, design and market implementation of so-called 'transformational products'. The main idea of these products is self-realization, which means the ability of humans to recognize their potential and exploit it. EcoViz developed and evaluated basic concepts of transformational products in the field of sustainability.
 
Since August 2009 
The Powerdome system at the FH Potsdam is the unique result af a collaboration between Carl Zeiss Jena, Fraunhofer FIRST and the Interface Design department of the FHP. It enables us to project real time media and interactive visualizations in a fulldome environment. The system gives us the opportunity to develop new and innovative interactive experiences in an immersive space.
 
 
Tina Deiml-Seibt has a Meisterschüler Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Arts (UDK) Berlin, and a MA in Interface Design from the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. As a Research Associate, she joined the IDL from the very start, working on different projects within the research focus of „social computing“ and „Online- Communities“.
 
 
At the Interaction Design Lab, we consider visualization as one of our core competences. Our approach to visualization blends scientific information visualization with a unique understanding of form, interaction and usage. We believe that design principles and design thinking should be applied to the development of information and data visualizations.

MACE (Metadata for Architectural Contents in Europe) is a pan-european initiative to interconnect and disseminate digital information about architecture.
 
Jan 08 - Mar 09 
The interactive installation »mæve« (MACE-Everyville) provides visual and tangible access to the social and intellectual networks behind architectural projects. The installation was part of the 11th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale 2008.
 
 
Prof. Boris Müller has a Diploma in Graphic Design from the Hochschule für Künste Bremen (College of Art and Design Bremen, Germany) and a MA in Computer Related Design from the Royal College of Art London. He has worked for a number of international clients and companies like MetaDesign San Francisco, the Science Museum London and the Fraunhofer Institute for Media Communication in Bonn. After being a visiting Professor at the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea ....
