The research project 'EcoViz' makes a contribution to conception, design and market implementation of so-called 'transformational products'. The main idea of these products is self-realization, which means the ability of humans to recognize their potential and exploit it. EcoViz developed and evaluated basic concepts of transformational products in the field of sustainability.
 
Since August 2009 
The Powerdome system at the FH Potsdam is the unique result af a collaboration between Carl Zeiss Jena, Fraunhofer FIRST and the Interface Design department of the FHP. It enables us to project real time media and interactive visualizations in a fulldome environment. The system gives us the opportunity to develop new and innovative interactive experiences in an immersive space.
 
Since August 2007 
Fritzing is an open-source initiative to support designers, artists, researchers and hobbyists to work creatively with interactive electronics. We are creating a software and website in the spirit of Processing and Arduino, developing a tool that allows users to document their prototypes, share them with others, teach electronics in a classroom, and to create a pcb layout for professional manufacturing.
 
since June 09 
Venice Unfolding connects large-scale geovisualizations with innovative interaction methods to display projects on architecture and their characteristics on a multitouch tabletop in a graspable way. It allows browsing these data interactively by selecting and filtering various metadata facets by tilting a physical object.
 
Since August 2004 
Incom.org is the communication plattform of the Design Department at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (FHP). By making information accessible and enhancing communication, Incom supports the project and teaching activities in the department.

MACE (Metadata for Architectural Contents in Europe) is a pan-european initiative to interconnect and disseminate digital information about architecture.
 
Jan 08 - Mar 09 
The interactive installation »mæve« (MACE-Everyville) provides visual and tangible access to the social and intellectual networks behind architectural projects. The installation was part of the 11th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale 2008.
 
March 2007 
The »Innovationsforum Interaktionsdesign« was a two-day conference, held on the 30th and 31st March 2007 in the new home of the Hans Otto Theatre Potsdam.
 
 
The Bayerische Rundfunk (BR) is the public broadcasting authority for the German Freistaat of Bavaria. For the relaunch of their online web portal br-online.de we conducted the planning and execution of the usability engineering.
